| Low capacity miniature load cells are
suitable for gram scales. These cells are available in capacities of
100 to 500 grams, giving moderate accuracy at very low cost. Available
in large quantities they are ideal for portable scales as well as custom
designs of platform scale and force sensors. Use them with all
standard load cell weight indicators or Scale-Tron model 1410 analog
transmitters. |

| Roller bearing sensors. Custom
design that can be modified for any shaft size and bearing pressure, from
1/4", 50 lb maximum load to 6", 100,000 lb maximum load, or greater, in
aluminum or steel.
Two gauges, 350 ohm each are connected as a
half-bridge. With an identical sensor at each end of a roller, the
overall roller pressure can be sensed. Alternatively, each end can
be sensed to give total and differential pressure. Example is
simple cantilever beam. Gauges can also be arranged in shear beam
configuration for better accuracy.
