HIGH PRESSURE MIXER WASHOUT 

Complete high performance High Pressure Washout for ALL types of concrete mixer using easily installed rotating jets.  North American high pressure pump unit,  900 to 1000 psi pressure at full flow, 20 to 40 gpm pump to suit all concrete mixers up to 12000/8000 (10.5 yd) size;  reservoir sized for at least two wash cycles with automatic refill and low-water pump shutoff.  Coupled with Scale-Tron’s control unit, the complete system is a highly effective, reliable and flexible solution that automatically cleans concrete mixers.

Proven European washing heads have powerful high pressure jets that rotate as well as turning.  Suits all mixer types. W80 head shown at right, 4 nozzles, suitable for large twin shaft or spiral blade mixers.   360º pattern washes upward as well as downward. LC200 head shown below, 3 nozzles, suitable for all pan, planetary and rotating pan mixers.   180º pattern washes downward only. Offset head positions eliminate shadow behind shafts in single and twin-shaft mixers. Pump unit is built on galvanized frame for long life and includes ventilated enclosure with safety disable switch. All pump components are U.S. made, allowing easy replacement from local suppliers or our stock. Water reservoir is polyethylene; no rust, cracks, leakage or other life limitations common to steel tanks. Reservoir capacity is 75 or 150 gallons; plenty of reserve for even the biggest jobs with pumps provided. Reservoir and high pressure pump are separate, allowing location in tight corners if required. Hand-wash high pressure gun and hose are included. Compatible with all types of concrete mixer. Companion control system includes starter and safety disconnect switch. It is compatible with both this pump system and Sicoma / Simem HP Washout systems. Nozzles can be changed to suit different pump pressures and rates. Available as complete kit or individual components, buy or lease. Pay for it with the extra production it gives.

 SPECIFICATIONS

W80 washing head, 10 gpm at 900 psi, gives a 360º spherical washing pattern. Two required for most mixers, 3 for largest (see below). 

LC200 head, 7.5 gal/min at 900 psi, gives a 180º hemispherical pattern.  Three required for most mixers, 4 for special applications.

2550-20 – 20 gpm pump, 1000 psi max, suitable for all mixers up to 4500/3000 (4 yd) size.  Uses 2 W80 or 3 LC200 washing heads.

2550-30 – 30 gpm pump, 1200 psi max, suitable for all mixers up to 5000/33350to 7500/5000 (4.4 - 6.6 yd) sizes.  Uses 3 W80 or 4 LC200 washing heads.

Reservoir for -30 and -40 – 150 gal cylindrical polyethylene, 30” x 56” H with high/refill/low sensors and solenoid filling valve.

Hand wash gun – high flow, high power, heavy-duty gun, suitable for blasting hard-to-reach deposits off surfaces and general clean-up work, supplied with 10 ft hose and 2-way valve.  Extra 2-way valve can redirect pressure to a second mixer.

Power – specify 380 or 415V 50 Hz, 480 V or 575 V 60 Hz 3-phase when ordering.

Control system – allows manual operation, timed wash cycle or remote control from batching controller.  When used as inter-batch wash, water can be metered and allowed for in subsequent batch.  Special  version allows controller and pump unit to be used with Sicoma and Simem oscillating jet systems. Note that pressure may be lower than specified when feeding Sicoma/Simem mixers due to number of jets used in  3000/2000 and larger sizes, but overall performance will equal or exceed that of original equipment.
