RediLink
Mix Design & Quality Control is the
most flexible software available for gathering concrete or asphalt material tests, formulating
mix designs, collecting product test results and creating reports.
Its central database keeps track of all mix designs, dating every change
and storing the history. New concrete or asphalt formulations can be made at any time or
modified as aggregate gradations change. Mix designs can be modified
for use in different products and situations, changes in the basic designs
rippling down to preserve your modifications faithfully every time.
The Quality Control module has a set of standard concrete tests built-in,
while also allowing the user to add special tests and define acceptance
limits. The system is flexible enough to be used for special
products; block, pavers, pipe, pre-stressed products, tiles,
non-concrete products and asphalt as well as ready-mix concrete.
Additionally, it runs in virtually any mixture of languages; each
operator can pick one or other of English/Spanish, English/Chinese etc.

RediLink Mix
Design & Quality Control is in use in
hundreds of ready-mix and asphalt operations, large and small,
guaranteeing you a stable, bug-free product. RediLink was designed
in Italy and is already the most widely used system in the country. Lafarge

REDILINK MIX DESIGN
 The MIX DESIGN system
manages the concrete & asphalt mix design database and all the needed
information to produce and control concrete & asphalt mix designs.
It keeps a history of all changes; no
modifications can be done without a trail; check the effects of a change
months or years later. The central mix design database distributes mix designs to the plants.
Aggregate gradation control - gradation information is stored, for
use in mix designs. The design module recalculates the recommended
quantities of each raw material based on raw material gradation. This
feature allows quick and easy modification of batch formulas when the aggregate
gradation changes, maximizing product strength and saving on cement.
Storage
of historical data is
extremely important for two major reasons:
- Concrete
failure:
a search may be required, to find the cause of the fault; was it a bad mix design or other problem?
- Low
profit:
previous configurations can be checked to find out if production used
more cement, for example, or if something else was not defined
properly.
REDILINK QC
 The QC system is the quality control system for
concrete/asphalt/aggregates. The system defines tests and quality
standards. The user can enter samples and measurements performed on the
samples; the system will then calculate the results and the success/fail
status. All
the common concrete tests are included as standard.
This system
is based on a custom report generator enabling it to be adapted to the
requirements of any country or state; you can arrange your data the way
you want it and create reports to suit special requirements and contract
specifications. You can also
create new tests for specialty products, if not already included.
For example, strength tests on block and pipe products. Alternatively, tests can be generated to your requirements by
value-added dealers or Scale-Tron’s software team.
RediLink QC modules:
Test definitions - RediLink QC defines:
- which tests are performed on each product.
- measurements that are performed for each test.
- calculation method and results calculated from the measurements.
Sample entry - Entry of product samples
taken from the regular production. The system creates the tests required
for each sample and the user enters the measurements.
Reports - Powerful report generator
creates any report required from the measurement data.
Operating languages
The default language is English in all systems. RediLink is
multi-lingual however, and can run in several different languages on
separate stations simultaneously in the same system, including special
scripts such as Chinese. New languages are added as
required; the procedure is simple and low in cost. Ideal
for OEMs in non-English areas.
STI (Service and Training by
Internet)
Redilink's reliability is the best in the
industry. This is not where we stop, however. Our customers
tell us - loud and clear - when they do have a problem. In order to
solve problems quickly and efficiently we have called upon the latest
Internet technology. Through your company network and its Internet
connection, or even through a phone connection to the Internet, we can
access your system and monitor its progress to pinpoint faults. Even
if the faults are caused by mechanical problems in the plant (90% of all
faults are), we can see the resulting holdup and guide the operator to a
successful outcome, anywhere in the world.
Our engineers can monitor or control the PC
computer running BatchLink or RediLink software, drilling down through
levels of menus to check setup data, correct it and, most important, train
personnel to understand the processes. Together with a speaker
phone, training sessions for groups can be conducted almost as easily as
our trainer being on site. The cost saving and convenience is
obvious. Scale-Tron is pioneering this technology to make your

System Description:
The system, running on an industry
standard Windows-based PC, can run as a stand-alone application or as part
of the RediLink Ready-Mix Management system. Its central storage
database is networked to QC labs and batching stations.
